ALRIGHT! Well Obviously I'm not very good at keeping up on this blog. I'll work on that! Well- update time.
Basically to keep it short, sweet, and to the point- I hate apartment shopping!! We've had a few fall through since when my roomate and I went down to SLC to find a place. I hate gettin' mind set and then having it RIPPED out from under me! Blah!! SO!... I craigslist-ed it (best invention ever). And I got about 25 different apartments to look at. My cousin that is down there is going to help me this saturday on picking one! I'm driving three hours for this. Which- on a budget like mine- means a lot! >.< So I better find something! My roomate can't come with me though. She's flying out to cali that day. So this is all me! So... WISH ME LUCK!!!
BUT... on the bright side. I'm officially a student in that school. FINALLY.=] Now All I need is for everything else to fall into place!
AAAAND... I got a sofa and love seat this last weekend. Kinda ugly... and white. But we attacked it with a shampoo-er. And I'm going to make seat covers for it here soon anyways. It'll look super cute ;]
Not only a sofa. But a dining room table. $25 at a yard sale. It was white wood with a white tile top. so kinda ugly. But i fixed it up and it looks a lot better now! And I need to make some seat covers to match it on my ugly chairs from the 70's! But those were $5 for all of them... soo.... can't complain!!!
I'll get some pictures posted next time ;] It's late.

Let us start.
Well I officially finally have something to blog about. Let's see how it goes??? Well- like my little headline says- 'big city dreams.' I live in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Not exactly big city worthy, right? Blahhh. Nope. But I love big cities. I've always wanted to live in one. I'm 18 now. Done with high school! WHOO! Now it's time to move on...
I want to get my masters in esthetics. At first I always just wanted to do cosmetology. But I could do that here... I needed motivation to leave! So my best friend Markelle Is going to a school in Salt Lake City to an esthetics school. (I eventually wanted to do esthetics as well.) Sooooo- I looked into it. And was MIND SET! This school is so awesome! Ugh!! Even thinking about it makes me all excited!( I still plan to get my cosmetology done after. I'll get a scholarship to do it actually ;])
So about a week ago, Markelle and I went to SLC for the weekend to tour our school and look for apartments and such. (SLC is about a 3 hour drive from IF. Juuuuust far enough!)
So our school was awesome! Everyone there was really nice and we got free facials that lasted an hour and was MUCH needed! UGH! SO relaxing! =]
And as of an apartment- I think we found one. =] We're just trying to get ahold of them to get it set it stone! =]
So basically- This whole thing will be updates about SLC and when I move there- I will be able to vent about it all or talk about how great it's going living on my own for the first time! =]
I can't wait to live in a town where It's a very slim chance of running into someonen I know. That's a pet peeve of mine! Blah! And the Streets of IF. Don't get me wrong- lovely town. It's just not for me. I'm excited to move to an actual city. I'm just scared to death!
